In the eyes of an angel the
poet did write
long and hard did he ponder life
truth be told he stood alone
until the day this angel flew to his rescue
no banner did fly no trumpets did blare
No time stood still nor did the earth shake
but the one thing that mattered most
was that,
Love filled the air
The heaviness of burden seemed lifted
joy rang through out the land
peace and tranquility settled the souls of the damned
and know the story is told
of the Angel and the Poet
they united and brought peace to the land
As time did pass their love grew strong and with it
came forth
the words of one loan man
and his encounter with an Angel
who saved his soul from the damned
Love is here and plans to stay
For an Angel did lead the way |
