WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO KNOW
Who am I: J. Rowdy Dakota Prickett (aka. LASTofthePOETS, and TheHighwayPirate) (of course I have other aliases but then don't we all have a little to hide? Well not really hide but that we do not wish to share.)
How Old Am I: Born: March 26, 1970 in Anchorage, AK. I just turned 34. I am a DOG on the Chinese Horoscope, and a ARIES on the other Horoscope.
Where am I: Well due to my occupation that is a bit controversial (ask me)
How do I support my bad habits: I am in professional freight relocations ( I am a truck driver LOL) I made about 50k last year, however; I it is not a job career choice that is for every one.
Am I educated: I am, but to the extent of my education that is un-important, if you feel you must know ask me.
WHO AM I REALLY: Once upon a time jumping out of airplanes and scuba diving in the south pacific would have been my answer. But time and circumstances have changed my future for me, forever I might add. It is amazing what little things change when big things impact you. oh yes for fun... well lets see I love the movies, the fine dining gourmet cooking, the ocean, the beaches, the setting sun, and the early morning stars. I love to write when I have time. But the greatest joys in my life are currently 6 and 9, my daughter and son, they are what I live for. But my friends are also part of me we go camping on occasions rent cars and take extended vacations to places we have never been too and see things that others only dream of. This summer I was hoping to spend 10 days in Alaska, but do to a lack of funds, well I will dream about it instead. I do not talk much about my past simply put; none of it is really all that great, but if you need to know, ask and I will do my best to tell you.
What else is left in life: I run the Midwest United States (that is Texas to North Dakota, Minnesota) some Florida and the Carolina's. I collect light houses and Eagles. I am also in the process of writing a novel I hope to one day finish. I have lots of poems that I have written and I am currently looking at building a new web site for the old work and the new work. (THIS IS MY NEW SITE NOW) Oh the important stuff, I have been divorced for 5 years, a divorce of not my choosing but it was for the best. I am a smoker, and have been for about 23 years Yuck, but I am trying to quit but not with to terrible much success. I am not in the market for a wife not a girl friend, so if you think you are interested in me then let's remember, friendship is all I have to offer.
MY BIGGEST FEAR: I am afraid of Heights And I used to not rate this so important but I do not want to Grow Old Alone became an important issue of recent years.
MY GOAL IN LIFE: I want to be the best dad I can be and for that one woman in my life trying for the rest of my life making her the happiest woman that I can. Is that all you ask? Oh No, I want to be able to play as I get older. Play what you ask? I love technology; so my play things are Electronics and Computers.
My Most Common Mistakes: Opening my mouth with out thinking. most importantly: Saying things as I see them, being to brutally honest. You see, some people can not handle the truth.
What I expect out of life: Pride, Honesty, Respect, Kindness, I believe love is not a word it is truly an action. Friendship is about honor and loyalty. Friends can love and hate, and just because you do not see or talk to someone every day does not mean they are not a friend. I give respect thus in return, I demand respect. I choose my friends according to the rules of etiquette that I live my life by. So say what you mean and Please mean what you say. WORDS CAN DESTROY. SO if you find me being a hypocrite open your dang mouth and tell me am messing up.
My Personal Disclaimer: The truest form of beauty does not strike with an iron fist, it does not jump out of a picture for the naked eye to see it starts in the heart. The smallest place that seems to hurt us the most. That is where true beauty starts. I am not a skinny little guy, I am 6ft 1in I am 390lbs I do not claim to be something I am not. I did not come here to hurt or be hurt, I came to offer life and hope. If you think that my writing is not poetic because it does not rhyme or look like Robert Frost, or Edgar Allen Poe's work, I am sorry, but poems are energy from the heart and mind that offer something to others that impact their hearts, minds, and souls.
